- Providing adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities.
- Consulting with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety.
- Providing and maintaining a safe working environment including plant and equipment.
- Ensuring safe handling and use of substances.
- Providing information, instruction, training and supervision for all employees commensurate with the tasks which they perform.
Responsibilities
- The MD together with the Leadership Team are responsible for providing health and safety leadership.
- The MD and the Leadership Team ensure that their decisions reflect this Policy Statement.
- The Director, Safety, Legal and Corporate Services ensures that the MD and the Leadership Team are kept informed of relevant health and safety issues.
- All employees have a legal responsibility in respect of their own safety and that of their work colleagues, and also to co-operate with their employer in safety matters.
